These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Enfee (the “Service”), operated by nheek. By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and GDPR page where applicable.
1. The Service
Enfee is a branching interactive fiction experience. You choose a genre, read NPC dialogue, and pick replies that shape what happens next. You may play as a guest or create an account to save stories to your library.
Stories are generated with AI assistance. They are fictional entertainment—not professional advice, counseling, or factual reporting.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to use online services where you live. If you are under 18, use the lighter content mode and get a parent or guardian’s permission where required. You must not use the Service if you are under 13.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, harassing, or abusive purposes;
- attempt to break, scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the Service;
- share content that infringes others’ rights or promotes illegal activity;
- use the Service to generate or store content that sexualizes minors or violates applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that risks the Service, other users, or nheek.
4. Your stories and content
You keep ownership of the prompts and choices you submit. You grant nheek a limited license to store, process, and display your story data only to operate the Service—including sending conversation context to our AI provider to generate responses.
AI output may be imperfect, repetitive, or unexpected. Do not rely on story content as real-world guidance.
5. Accounts and library
Signed-in users may save, continue, archive, trash, restore, and permanently delete stories through the library. We may enforce reasonable limits on storage or API use to keep the Service stable.
6. Purchases
Enfee does not offer paid subscriptions on the web today. If we add billing later, additional terms will apply at checkout.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (including OpenAI for story generation and hosting providers). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their processing of data we send them.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, nheek disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, nheek is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of USD $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (currently $0 if you use only free features), except where mandatory law says otherwise.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify nheek against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, except where prohibited by law.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to nheek’s place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply where they cannot be waived.
